| We opened our store in April of 2005 to capture the largely untapped market in womens’ plus size athletic clothing. We are a small, privately owned, on-line only store. Currently our primary marketing strategy is through on-line connections with complementary sites. Our target market is women 25-50 years old who are overweight.
Our products are a mix of recognizable and private label brands. We sell only top quality merchandise that is made to fit plus sized people, not small sizes that are blown up. Our prices range from $10 to $60 per item and the average sale is $52. We are also have a strong base of return customers.
We’re interested in developing relationships with other sites through affiliate and reciprocal marketing. We’re also open to new and innovative ideas.
Our affiliate program works like this: the affiliate displays the PlusSizeAthleticWear.com (PSAW) banner on their site. You can also make your own banner, but we must approve it. When visitors click through and make a purchase at PSAW, the affiliate is given a 5% commission. This is due to use of a cookie that remains active for 1 year from the first click-through. This means our affiliates will earn commission when past customers come back and buy again, even if they didn’t go through the affiliates site for subsequent visits!
We issue commission checks every 6 months or for every $100 accumulated, whichever comes first. |
